Westmeath Riding Centre

Ireland’s premier Riding Centre. The family extends a warm welcome to all horse lovers. We specialise in un-accompanied young rider (10 to 18) residential holidays during the summer months. There is no formality and you will quickly feel at home. The young rider programme with English tuition is highly recommended.

The Equestrian Programme

This equestrian programme is specifically designed to cater for the young rider (10 to 18 years old ). Our young rider programme runs throughout the summer months commencing each Monday. This is the ideal opportunity for the horse loving teenager to improve their riding, knowledge and care of horses in a friendly homely environment.

English Learning

Summer holiday programme for Young Riders (10-18 Years) Objectives: To Improve Riding, Knowledge and care of horses To practise and improve their spoken English. For the overseas visitors there is also an opportunity to partake in 5 hours English tuition each week. Extra English tuition is available on request. Riders are introduced to Irish culture, make new friends and have an enjoyable holiday experience. The children live at the centre and are fully supervised.

Accomodation

Your holiday accommodation is in the comfortable and informal setting of the family home at the Equestrian Centre, close to the horses and the action. There is also a two storey converted barn located at the Centre. All Bedrooms en-suite. Convenient for horse riding.
